Geological hazards, also known as geohazards, refer to natural events that pose a threat to human and animal life, habitats, and property. Earthquakes, Volcanic Eruptions, Tsunamis, and Landslides are examples of geological health hazards. They can injure or take the lives of humans and animals; destroy habitats, reefs, etc; and demolish houses, buildings, and other important facilities.
