Carried on a parapet

Sliding on a windowpane

Onto the sill

Caught by the wind

Into a bowl of swimmers

And eyeless bystanders

Watching a rose, bald and trimmed

For a moment, it lay still

In silent pain

Shaking, it rose, made her thorns be felt

Withstands the storm, her body

Yet her petals caress with grace.

The world is assuming, filled with lies, as the truth slowly becomes taboo. Yet, as the rose doesn't allow herself to be swayed once more by the pain, we shouldn't be swayed with what people assume and expect from us. With this, we should also help and do our part to let people know the truth.
